We collect account and platform activity information, including: account profile details (name, email, username, company, phone), buy box criteria, submitted properties/deals and offers, review and report submissions, notification records, and security/session data needed to operate your account.

2. How We Use Your Information

• Email: To send account-related notifications and deal activity alerts.
• Phone: If you opted in, to send SMS messages and place calls about deal activity.
• Buyer criteria: Published publicly on the site so authorized submitters can identify matching opportunities.
• Submitted properties/deals, offers, and notifications: To power review, matching, inbox, sent history, interest/offer workflows, and system alerts.
• Reports and moderation data: To investigate abuse, fraud, mismatches, and policy violations.

Listing-improvement email measurement

To understand whether listing-improvement emails are useful, we use first-party link and visit identifiers to measure visits from those emails and connect signed-in owners' listing edits with the message and suggested fields. Outcome records contain event times, activity and field-change categories, and a coded reference derived from existing browser/session identifiers. These records can be linked to your account and listing. This measurement does not record email opens, copy form contents, or add raw IP addresses or browser user-agent strings to the outcome records. We use a temporary browser-storage reference and existing first-party cookies. We respect supported Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals, email preferences and suppressions. Automated requests and incomplete tracking can affect the results. You may request access or deletion using the contact details below.

Website experience analytics

We use Microsoft Clarity to understand navigation, form progress and successful actions on the Site. Page text and form contents are masked for this measurement. Authenticated administrators and internal test accounts are excluded before Clarity is loaded, including on public pages. Password-reset and administrative pages are excluded.

When Clarity reports that analytics storage is permitted, we may use a coded account reference and an eligible public username to find signed-in sessions. We do not send email addresses, phone numbers, passwords or submitted form contents as analytics event parameters. We respect supported Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals. We do not treat signing in or opting into SMS as analytics consent. Where consent is unavailable, Clarity may collect limited cookieless diagnostics; separate page visits may not form a continuous journey. Campaign and referral reports can therefore be incomplete.

3. What Is Public

Your buying criteria (states, property types, price range, condition) and selected profile data may be visible to users of the platform. Approved share pages may show property facts while keeping submitter contact details private by default. Your private account credentials are never public.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with service providers who help operate the Site (e.g., email delivery, hosting) under strict confidentiality obligations.

5. Data Storage and Security

Data is stored in our hosted application database and related infrastructure used to run OpenBuyersList. We apply reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect personal data, but no system can be guaranteed 100% secure.

6. SMS Opt-Out

To stop receiving SMS messages, reply STOP to any message or contact us at hello@openbuyerslist.com. Standard message and data rates may apply.

7. Data Retention

We retain data while your account is active and as needed for legitimate business, legal, and fraud-prevention purposes. You may request deletion by contacting us, subject to legal retention obligations.

Email-outcome records follow this retention policy and currently have no separate fixed automatic deletion period.

8. Security

We use industry-standard practices to protect your data. No transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us.
